The Expo Group is seeking a Regional Operations Director, SE to lead daily operations within the Southeastern region, driving safety, service, and efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional leaders. Based in Orlando, Florida, this hybrid role ensures consistency, innovation, and excellence in our shows, exhibits, and events.
In this role, you will:
- Define and communicate strategic and tactical direction across your region.
- Lead department Managers and Supervisors, fostering leadership and development within the team.
- Implement career paths, succession planning, and operational standards to support growth.
- Analyze performance, productivity, and profitability, and implement improvements accordingly.
- Partner with Sales, Project Management, and other departments to drive innovation and optimize operations.
- Conduct regular reviews, standardize execution practices, and ensure alignment with company values.
What You Bring to The Expo Group:
- Educational Foundation: Two-year college degree or equivalent logistics or tradeshow experience.
- Experience: 10 years of related experience in a tradeshow, warehousing, or show-site environment. Proven leadership in multi-site operations, with warehouse and field labor oversight. Extensive experience managing direct reports and growing productive teams.
- Key Skills: Strong analytical and reasoning abilities, excellent communication, high proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong grasp of logistics, budgeting, and inventory management.
