The Expo Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to supervise daily warehouse operations and team members while managing inventory, logistics, and vendor coordination. Based onsite in Irving, Texas, this role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality event experiences by maintaining an efficient, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead warehouse teams with a focus on motivation, accountability, and operational efficiency.
- Schedule staff and approve timekeeping to align with show demands and labor cost targets.
- Oversee departments including SAF, Carpentry, Carpet, Drape & Décor, Freight, and Drivers.
- Coordinate with vendors for rental equipment, materials, and disposal services.
- Manage inventory systems and Container ID (CID) creation to ensure accurate equipment tracking.
- Conduct regular quality inspections, enforce safety protocols, and support SOP implementation.
- Educational Foundation: High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of tradeshow or event warehouse experience preferred; supervisory experience required.
- Credentials: Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Key Skills: Strong leadership, clear communication, hands-on problem-solving, time management, Microsoft Excel proficiency, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
