Description
The Expo Group is seeking a SAF Production Specialist to function as a member of the SAF assembly team. The Specialist displays proficiency at Octanorm and BeMatrix assembly, Increased knowledge and ability to read and decipher Work Orders and detail drawings (BOM’s), and can operate a forklift safely and with confidence, capable of doing any task required, including loading of trailers. The Specialist is often tasked with acting as a leader of small crews.

We’re looking for someone with previous trade show experience, and preferably a forklift certification, who is able to regularly lift 50 pounds as well as walking and/or working on their feet for 8-10 hours of the workday. Our ideal must have basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, a basic knowledge of hand tools, and basic measurement skills/metric conversion skills. Additionally, this position requires regular travel to shows.

We’re looking for someone who can:
  • Transport and securely store pallets and crates in storage racks using a forklift.
  • Keep the warehouse and facilities clean and organized.
  • Maintain and enforce proper safety standards and equipment checks.
  • Direct and facilitate the execution of Pulling and Packing Work Orders by other assembly team members in a supervisory role when needed.
  • Coordinate with SAF Production Lead to trouble shoot Work Orders and drawings ensuring actionable work orders for the assembly team.
  • Assist SAF Production Lead with quality checks on outgoing Work Order Shipments.
  • Travel to Show site and assist in exhibit structure set up, leading a crew when needed.
