Are you ready to bring bold ideas to life through innovative and engaging exhibit design? The Expo Group is seeking an Environmental Exhibit Designer to conceptualize, design, and lead the creation of immersive environments for trade shows, corporate events, and branded experiences. Based remotely, this role will be a key contributor in turning our clients’ visions into compelling, real-world experiences that support their business goals.

In this role, you will:
  • Create innovative and immersive exhibit concepts based on client needs and brand guidelines
  • Develop detailed 2D/3D drawings, models, and renderings using industry-standard design software
  • Lead projects from concept through execution, managing timelines, budgets, and design quality
  • Collaborate with internal teams—project managers, sales, detailers, and estimators—to ensure design feasibility and cost-efficiency
  • Present design concepts and progress to clients and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with fabrication teams and vendors to bring your designs to life with precision
What You Bring to The Expo Group:
  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Interior Architecture, or related field—or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience: 6–7 years of hands-on experience in exhibit or experiential design
  • Credentials: No formal certifications required; experience with modular systems such as BeMatrix or Octonorm is highly preferred
  • Key Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in 3D Studio Max, Vray, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
    • Deep understanding of spatial design and branded environments
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong time management, organization, and project leadership abilities
    • Creative problem-solving within space, budget, and time constraints
    • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
