The Expo Group is seeking a self-motivated, freelance 2D Graphic Designer to work with our Creative team in Irving, Texas. The 2D Graphic Designer will focus on creating original 2D artwork, work with creative leaders and 3D Designers on art direction, hierarchy and teams to work on elevating large brands. The ability to create infographics and tell a story with a mood board is key. Some work with internal brand on style guides and uses, as well as style guides for customers. Assisting sales & marketing teams on PPT, image selections for proposal works etc.
Our perfect candidate will…
- Create designs and concepts to promote brand awareness.
- Meet with clients and other 3D designers to address their needs and vision.
- Produce still and some animated graphics.
- Create artwork for multimedia presentations, visuals for proposals.
- Create and edit infographics.
- Engage the elements of photography, typography, graphic layout, color, style, etc. to deliver the intended message.
This is what we need you to have:
- An Associates Degree in Design or related field
- A design portfolio (required for all applicants)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Very strong typography and design skills using balance, form, original artwork
- Adobe Creative Suite - specifically illustrator, photoshop, In Design, & PPT
- Ability to animate, video edit a plus but not required
- Ability to use pivot tables, analyze data a plus but not required
