The Expo Group is seeking a Carpenter to construct, repair, and assemble cabinets, doors, frameworks, and other wooden fixtures used in exhibits. This onsite role in our Orlando, Florida office plays a key part in delivering precise, well-crafted structures that support extraordinary event experiences.
In this role, you will:
- Perform laminate work, operate hand tools and table saws.
- Build and repair cabinets, fixtures, and millwork for exhibits.
- Assemble and fasten materials using screws, nails, dowels, or glue.
- Read and interpret plans and shop drawings to complete close-tolerance work.
- Execute both benchwork and freestanding structure assembly.
- Work independently on multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
What You Bring to The Expo Group:
- Educational Foundation: No formal degree required; relevant trade experience preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrated skills in laminate work, cabinetry, millwork, and assembly.
- Credentials: Forklift certification preferred.
- Key Skills: Ability to read shop drawings, operate woodworking machines, and complete precise craftsmanship.
