The Expo Group is seeking an energetic Customer Account Manager/Administrative Assistant to join our Customer Account Management team in our Las Vegas, Nevada office. Our Customer Account Managers are our front line of service with our exhibiting clients on all shows. The Customer Account Manager manages and maintains exhibitor accounts by phone, email, fax and processes booth services orders, financial transactions, documents transactions and maintains files. This position communicates with exhibitors pre-show, on-site, and post show. If you are service and detail oriented, can keep up with a fast pace, and are comfortable with some travel, then this is the opportunity for you.

Our perfect candidate will…

  • Provide exhibitors with superior customer service.
  • Be accurate with processing exhibitor communications, orders and financial information.
  • Be flexible to fit into various environments.
  • Properly handle order entry and documentation of exhibitor transactions.
  • Travel to show site and work on site during move in, show days, and move out of show.
  • Will need to be able to travel several during the year for up to 14 days at a time.
  • Market services with a special focus on Exhibit Solutions, Labor and Freight.
  • Reconcile issues from exhibitors, concerns of invoices, charges, or services provided.
  • Communicate customer satisfaction and quality concerns to Team Leader.

This is what we need you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Hospitality or Business Management or similar field
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Tradeshow industry experience a huge plus!
  • Project Management experience and/or certification preferred
  • Strong financial acumen preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills required for learning and operating numerous systems:
    • Intermediate Excel skills
    • Comfortable with Outlook Folders and Email
    • Strong internet searching and desire for research via internet
    • Data Entry with Attention to Detail
    • Copy and Paste from various documents back and forth
  • Tradeshow or Exhibit experience a plus, but not required
  • Executive administration experience or administrative experience for a management team
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
