The Expo Group is seeking an IT Intern to provide critical support to our Information Technology team. Based in Irving, Texas, this hybrid internship offers a unique opportunity to strengthen your skills in troubleshooting, system setup, and end-user support while contributing to meaningful projects that keep our company connected and running smoothly.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor, resolve, and escalate support tickets through Zendesk
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including equipment setup and account provisioning
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues for laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Support remote and onsite users with connectivity and equipment needs
- Help configure and deploy IT hardware
- Maintain documentation of support procedures and contribute to project work as assigned
- Educational Foundation: High school diploma required; currently enrolled in a college or technical program focused on Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least one year of coursework completed
- Experience: One year of technical support experience preferred
- Key Skills:
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Office 365, and networking basics
- Comfortable using help desk and remote support tools (e.g., Zendesk, TeamViewer)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Eager to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a collaborative environment
