The Expo Group is seeking an IT Intern to provide critical support to our Information Technology team. Based in Irving, Texas, this hybrid internship offers a unique opportunity to strengthen your skills in troubleshooting, system setup, and end-user support while contributing to meaningful projects that keep our company connected and running smoothly.

In this role, you will:
  • Monitor, resolve, and escalate support tickets through Zendesk
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including equipment setup and account provisioning
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues for laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Support remote and onsite users with connectivity and equipment needs
  • Help configure and deploy IT hardware
  • Maintain documentation of support procedures and contribute to project work as assigned
What You Bring to The Expo Group:
  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma required; currently enrolled in a college or technical program focused on Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least one year of coursework completed
  • Experience: One year of technical support experience preferred
  • Key Skills:
    • Familiarity with Windows OS, Office 365, and networking basics
    • Comfortable using help desk and remote support tools (e.g., Zendesk, TeamViewer)
    • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
    • Eager to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a collaborative environment
