Description
The Expo Group is seeking an Account Executive, Exhibits, to both hunt new business and cultivate current accounts. The Exhibits team highly values collaboration and communication, and Account Executives should be clear communicators who can trust the team to do their jobs, allowing a focus on selling and building relationships with clients.

We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business to business sales, who is adept at cultivating and managing the customer experience through the sales lifecycle. You should be comfortable with high touch client interaction as well as high touch interdepartmental interactions, and have proactive communication skills both externally and internally, verbally and written. Our ideal candidate is naturally a go-getter, competitive, resilient, persistent, flexible, demonstrates good judgment and professionalism You should be a team player and show a commitment to self, job, department, company and our mission, plus a proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships that lead to high customer satisfaction and retention.You should have a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, and an ability to learn proprietary software. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.

We’re looking for someone who can:
  • Hunt for new business on non-TEG shows through researching industry shows, publications, directories, internal inactive accounts and referrals to generate additional qualified prospects
  • Cultivate New business on TEG shows as assigned/solicited
  • Develop high, wide and deep relationships. Identify potential prospects at every level of each organization (gate keepers, decision influencers, decision makers, economic buyers, etc.)
  • Conduct online and face-to-face sales presentations, discovery/strategy sessions, and post-show debriefings
  • Facilitate sales cycle duties through completion
  • Skillfully navigate office relationships/dependencies with other team members and departments.
  • Skillfully navigate customer relationships that lead to repeat business, which includes getting as much detail from the exhibitor before requesting a design or estimate.
  • Use the Salesforce CRM as the data hub for lead gen and all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Manage the post-show invoice/collection process in conjunction with Account Managers.
